The Albany courthouse is located at the corner of West Broad Avenue and Washington Street in the original downtown sector of Albany. The building, completed in June, 2002, incorporates the most current technology and security. The building houses the District Court, Bankruptcy Court, and offices for the U.S. Clerk of Court, U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Probation, and U.S. Attorney. Office hours are 8:30-5:00p, Mon-Fri. For after-hours filing, a drop box is located on the front veranda of the building. See map. |
