Electronic Case Records
You may access the electronic case record for any case filed in this court after 2004, and many cases filed prior, using PACER. (See the Electronic Public Access Fee Schedule for fees associated with PACER.)

Self Service Ordering of Older Records
For your convenience, the Federal Records Center offers an Automated Online Ordering System. (Click on "Order Reproductions," then "Court Records.") Documents will be delivered to you directly via fax, mail (paper or CD/DVD) or email.

Prior to ordering, you must search below for the accession number and location of the file. If you are unable to locate your case, contact the division office where the case was initiated to obtain record information prior to ordering.

** Case files closed for more than 15 years may be located at the National Archives. These files may only be retrieved by order of the court or by visiting the National Archives in Morrow, GA on Tuesday-Saturday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Please call the Archives at 770-968-2100 prior to visiting.

Request Retrieval by the Court/Request for Copies
The fee for the Clerk's Office to retrieve a file from the Records Center is $53.00 payable in advance. When the file arrives, it may be viewed in person in the Clerk's Office. Copies of documents are $.50 per page. If mailing of documents is requested applicable postage fees will apply. You may request a file or copies of documents via email at help@gamd.uscourts.gov or by contacting the division office where the case was initiated. DO NOT send payment to the Court without first confirming that the record is available.
