LOCAL RULE 48
CIVIL JURIES
48.1 JURIES. All civil actions for which a proper jury trial demand has been made shall be tried to a jury of twelve members and all jurors shall participate in the verdict unless excused from service by the court. Unless the parties stipulate otherwise, (1) the verdict shall be unanimous, and (2) no verdict may be taken from a jury of fewer than six members.
48.2 JUROR QUESTIONNAIRES. Questionnaires completed by prospective jurors and information obtained from the questionnaires are for the exclusive use of the court and parties to cases scheduled for trial and shall only be used for purposes of jury selection. Attorneys for parties may check out completed questionnaires from the Clerk’s Office. Immediately after trial, attorneys shall destroy all copies of completed questionnaires and any other documents containing information obtained from the completed questionnaires.
